Ottawa, ON, Canada – August 24, 2020
Gastops today announced the expansion of its industry-leading line of equipment condition monitoring technologies with the introduction of MetalSCAN 4110.
MetalSCAN 4110 is purpose-built to detect and monitor the progression of component damage, including severity and remaining life indication, for bearings and gears in high temperature, severe industrial and hazardous environments. Typical applications include power generation, LNG processing, oil & gas production, marine propulsion, industrial equipment gearboxes, and compressors and pumps.
The rugged MetalSCAN 4110 is easy to install, requires no maintenance, and detects 100% of Fe and NFe metal particles to give equipment operators and maintenance professionals the earliest reliable detection of component damage on the market. The included MetalSCAN Monitor Software continuously records and displays component damage data and annunciates warnings and alarms when debris accumulation exceeds defined limits.
“MetalSCAN 4110 takes the Gastops’ value proposition deep into the most demanding equipment environments,” said Shaun Horning, President and CEO of Gastops. “We’re extremely proud to play an important part in ensuring the long life of critical equipment across so many industries around the world.”
