Services – Overview
The deepest roots of GasTOPS are our engineering and technical service capabilities. The company was founded in 1979 as an engineering company dedicated to improving the productivity and safety of critical machinery through the application of advanced instrumentation, monitoring and control technologies. We worked closely with our early customers to research, develop, and qualify a number of industry leading innovations such as distributed digital control concepts for naval vessels, enterprise-wide condition based maintenance systems for military and commercial equipment fleets and advanced measurement techniques for oil debris sensing and analysis.
Our Technical and Engineering Services business unit operates independently and offers a range of specialized services built on the capabilities and experience gained through these early development programs. We offer advanced services related to the application and use of fluid measurement and analysis technologies such as our Technology Application Engineering and Remote Monitoring services. We also offer a number of additional services aimed at helping our customers to improve the effectiveness of their machinery development, operations and maintenance programs including Condition Assessment, Controls and Simulation, Integration Services, and Component MRO services.
GasTOPS recognizes the importance of providing our customers with the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully introduce new and innovative methods of machinery control, monitoring and maintenance. To this end, the company has established two facilities dedicated to the provision of these services: Our Application Center in Pensacola, Florida and our Service Center in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
