GasTOPS Ltd announces appointment of David Muir to President and Chief Executive Officer
 
Ottawa, Canada (22 May 2007): GasTOPS Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of David Muir as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Muir has been with the company for more than 25 years and has held positions of progressive responsibility within Engineering and Senior Management, including the positions of VP, Marketing and Sales and Executive Vice President. Prior to joining GasTOPS, Mr. Muir worked at Pratt & Whitney Canada. He is a graduate of Carleton University (B.Eng & M.Eng) and a Fellow of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute.

Mr. Bernard MacIsaac, the founder of GasTOPS and retiring CEO, commented "Dave has been a key member of the GasTOPS team for many years. He brings to this new position a profound understanding of the company's business and it's markets.
